The fourth Butch Sands novel was released last week. After a long writing journey, I am truly grateful to my editor, Mallory Day and publisher, Speaking Volumes for taking a chance on me. After twenty plus years of working toward the kind of fiction I want to read, Leeward Run is the first story that left me feeling complete, the characters involved true to the storyline. My hope is that other writers will take away something they can use from this chaotic story about two fathers trying to love their children, in spite of impossible circumstances. Lastly, I look forward to other writers in the Substack community sharing their work with me, so that I might also find something to use. #keepwriting
